It's hard to believe that another season has concluded!

The season statistics

P27 W16 L10 D1
For 111
Against 92

The scorers

41 - Sparky
39 - James
9 - Stewart
8 - Alex
5 - Jack M
2 - Josh & Jamie
1 - Chris, Curtis, Danny, Peter & Jack

Player of the year

Sparky.
There were 2 obvious outstanding candidates and a difficult decision to make. James captained the side this year and had another fantastic season in attack and defence.
Sparky took the honours and deservedly so. I have waxed lyrically about him for 3 years and I am personally delighted that he received the award.
The second he gets the ball there is a buzz of anticipation - his pace is electric!! He has been an absolute joy to coach over the past 3 seasons. A quiet, determined, tough, funny lad. He has a fantastic attitude and loves to learn, always asking questions to try and improve himself. Take a bow young man - well done! Laughing

Most improved

Stewart.
Again several candidates could have taken the honours, but in reality Stewart made the decision very easy. The improvement in his attitude and willingness to get involved in a physical battle has been superb. Again having been with us for the last 3 seasons, it would have been easy for him to take his foot off the gas.He didn't. He has shown great maturity and chipped in with 9 tries as well to round off his best ever season.

Best Newcomer
Dylan.
This was another very tough decision. Special mention should be made of young Stevie though - he had a great post Christmas run of games and will relish next season. Dylan though in my mind has been a great success story. When he arrived at the start of the season it would be fair to suggest that fitness wasn't a strong point. He got stuck in,worked hard, and played himself on to the regular starting team.Last weekend over 2 days played every minute of every match! Fabulous and again I am delighted at his award.

Alex, Josh, Curtis, Danny, Jack, Sandro, Peter, Aaron, Chris - well done and thanks for a great season!
