Malone v Thomond
The Gibson Park side have slipped to 4th place in the league after losing their opening three AIL matches in 2016. They need to reverse their fortunes to remain in contention for a playoff place. The visit to Limerick to play Thomond will not be easy as the Munster side are seeking points to move away from the bottom two places.
Malone Head coach Jarrett Truscott has selected the following team. Front row Ben Halliday, Tristan King and Phil Eadie with Cory Tipping and James McAllister in the second row. Captain Neil Alcorn is joined by Johnny Ogilby and number 8 Ross Todd in the back row. Shane Kelly and Josh Pentland continue at 9 and 10 with Michael Cartmill and Adam Liddell in the centre. Jack McMurtry and Michael Barker are on the wings with mark O'Connor at full back. The bench includes Austen Blackburn, Dave Cave, Max Porter, Nathan Brown and Gareth Millar.
Injuries rule out Gary Crawford, Chris Griffiths, Dave Halliday, Rory Campbell and Ben McDonnell with Richard Millar, Richard McCullough, Lee Barlow and Chris Davis unavailable. When these two sides met at Gibson Park in October Malone won 31 - 27.
