Malone v Galway Corinthians

Both these teams need league points with Malone fighting for a top four place and Corinthians hoping to make the playoffs to remain in Div 2A. Nothing less than a win will do for Malone with two remaining games coming up against Naas and Banbridge. When these two sides met at Gibson Park in September Malone were narrow 20 - 14 winners.

Head coach Jarrett Truscott has been forced to make several changes due to injury and unavailability after their narrow 16 - 13 home defeat against UCC two weeks ago. His front row includes Ben Halliday, Tristan King and Philip Eadie with Richard Millar and James McAllister in the second row. Johnny Ogilby joins Captain Neil Alcorn and Ross Todd in the back row. Shane Kelly and Josh Pentland are at 9 and 10 with Nathan Brown restored to the centre alongside Michael Cartmill. Jack McMurtry joins Michael Barker on the wing with Mark O'Connor at fullback. The bench replacements include Dave Cave, Gary Crawford, Chris Davis, Ricky McCullagh and Gareth Millar. Second row Cory Tipping is unavailable this weekend with injury ruling out Rory Campbell and Adam Liddell for the rest of the season with Ben McDonnell struggling to recover from a knee injury.
