On Easter Tuesday Ballynahinch and Malone will have the honour of contesting the first ever Women's domestic Cup final to be held at Kingspan Stadium.

The Women's Junior Cup final will kick-off at 12.30pm as part of a double header, followed by the Crawford Cup Final between Grosvenor 2nd XV and Ballynahinch 4th XV at 2.30pm.

Current Junior Cup holders Ballynahinch entered the latter stages of the Junior Cup due to their involvement in the All Ireland Cup, playing against Blackrock and Rathdrum.

The Ballynahinch Women are captained by Amanda Maginn, who is an accomplished Gaelic footballer and Australian Rules footballer. A very strong ball carrier with a superb work rate, Amanda has brought the experience from her debut year with the Ulster Women into her club game and produced some excellent performances.

Ballynahinch received a bye in the Junior Cup Quarter-Final before recording a comprehensive 28-0 win over Enniskillen in the Semi-Finals last weekend, with Katherine Tougher, Rachel Morton, Alexa Grudgings and Storm Cobain all touching down and Alexa Grudgings converting four out of four.

Malone, who were also involved in the All Ireland Cup, opened their Junior Cup campaign with a 38-5 Quarter-Final win over City of Derry, with Joleen Cloughley (2), Peita McAllister (2), Ali Boal and Sarah Murphy all running in tries. Malone then defeated Cavan 23-10 in the Semi-Finals, with the tries coming from Ella Durkan (2), Peita McAllister and Ali Boal.

Malone will be captained by Jenna Stewart, the experienced former Ulster scrum-half, whose knowledge and communication on the pitch is key to the organisation of her team.

The combined strength and dominance of Malone's pack has helped them control games and allow their fast paced back line, made up of experience and youth, see out the Ulster League and Cup undefeated, with Rebecca Lawlor, Neve Jones, Ella Durkan and Peita McAllister some of the key players to watch out for.
