Malone Rugby Football Club is excited to announce Josh Pentland as new head coach.
Many of you will know that Josh was a regular 1st XV player since leaving RBAI and alongside his playing career, has progressed his coaching career at Dromore High School and is currently head of rugby at Down High School.
Josh was also head coach of Dromore for two seasons, but the lure of Malone was too strong and he came back to the club last season as a player. His season was cut short by a nasty injury, but fully recovered, he is now ready to take over as head coach at the club.
Josh is now in the process of finalising his coaching team and the rugby committee is looking forward to working with and supporting the new coaching team at Malone.
The club would also like to thank outgoing coach Wilbur Leacock. Wilbur has stepped down due to family reasons and we understand and respect his decision. We look forward to seeing Wilbur back at Malone in the future.
A new era dawns at Malone - good luck Josh.
